Steel Shot Blasting Media Steel shot is the ideal material for metal resurfacing, cleaning, and stripping. It quickly removes surface debris such as grease, scale, rust, oils, and carbon deposits, so paint and other coatings have an excellent bonding surface for long-lasting results. Shot blasting/peening can increase the strength and durability of metal by manipulating it at room temperature and subjecting it to high velocity particulate shots. This applies to all metal stages, from restoration to new facrications. Shot blasting can be applied to all types of metals safely, including aluminum and white metal components. Finishing ranges vary. Choose the size that creates the desired result. S-70, S-110, and S-170 are fine to produce a smooth finish with excellent coverage. S-230, S-280, S-330, and S-390 size shot produce a medium finish with good coverage. S-460, S-550, and S-660 are coarser for heavy iron and steel. S-780, S-930, S-1110, and S-1320 are the largest sizes for the heaviest applications. We blast two to four burned drums per minute. An S-shaped cabinet is available for minimal shot escape. Fully automated process for loading and unloading the drums or barrels. Bi-directional wheel designed for high-volume, medium velocity shot distribution. Quick-change blade technology for easy maintenance. Floor Blasting Our shot and grit is used for floor blasting. WVN steel shot combined with a high-performance, airless, centrifugal wheel for propelling blast media at a high velocity, in a controlled pattern and direction, is the best option on the market for optimal floor blasting. The media strikes the surface and rebounds along with removed contaminants into a recovery chamber. The dust collector removes pulverized abrasive, dust and contaminants. Very little abrasive is lost and the usable media is returned to the storage hopper for recirculation by the blast wheel. Different surface profiles can be achieved by varying shot size, shot flow rate and machine travel speed. Rim Blasting Our shot and grit is used widely for all sizes of rim blasting. Our shot cleans all angles for the cleanest rims when paired with the proper machine. Small parts baskets allow steel shot to clean other parts in rim blasting machines. Paver Blasting Our shot and grit is used for paver blasting across the world. Adjustable patterns give the desired finish. High-volume, money-saving, bi-directional, medium velocity. Robust design, and belt-driven. Different surface profiles can be achieved by varying shot size.
